Center Hall "Glamonial"

What do you get when an Architect renovates a traditional Georgian Center Hall brick Colonial, with a glamorous hip family, and a modern young interior designer? A Center Hall "Glamonial". While the soul of the original Center Hall layout did not change, maintaining the center hall flanked by the Dining Room and Living Room, the family room in the rear is where the new design soars. Our team took a fresh look at the juxtaposition of the family room to the kitchen and library and formal spaces and connected everything together with a spacious two story space. The second floor balcony is the other center of attention being wide enough as a gathering space for the children. No detail was overlooked in bringing together lavish moldings and luxe finishes to create this exquisite 6,000 square foot transitional home. The beautiful herringbone wide plank wood floors bring warmth to the Dining Room and Family Room, blending old world charm and modern details. This homeowner’s vision defines eclectic, tasteful style with hand crafted moldings, custom glass features and rich color. Arched entryways, dramatically high coffered ceilings, warm and richly designed flooring, walls and finishes create a modern yet distinguished space.
