Hierarchy Architecture & Design PLLC is an architecture firm based in Manhasset, NY on the north shore of Long Island. Our company specializes in creating timeless designs that are seamlessly integrated into the home and neighborhood's existing context. Aesthetically, we are known for Clean Modern designs with clean and classic proportions, as well as Transitional and Traditional home designs. We provide our clients with a wide range of architectural services from large scale projects, like brand new ground-up homes, to smaller more detailed projects like custom millwork, and everything in between including interior & gut renovations, kitchen renovations and bathroom renovations. One of the more distinguished services we offer is the restoration of old Tudor and Colonial homes in the Greater New York area. Whatever your architectural needs are, we are here to help. Our support extends well beyond the design phase as we are with you at every step of the home planning, designing and construction processes. Meet The Team
TJ Costello
TJ is the founder and Principal Architect of Hierarchy, bringing a unique blend of expertise and leadership to the firm. As the only architect on Long Island who is both a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and a Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD), TJ sets himself apart in the industry. Originally from the Boston area, TJ has been a resident of Manhasset for over 2 decades, actively contributing to the local community by serving on various boards and charities. He is registered to practice in multiple states, including New York, New Jersey, and Florida, and holds several professional certifications that reflect his dedication to excellence and innovation in architecture.
Stacey Sabatino
With over 30 years of experience in bookkeeping, Stacey brings a wealth of financial expertise to the Hierarchy team. Since joining the firm in May 2016, Stacey has played a pivotal role in managing the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of financial reporting and bookkeeping. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence have made her an invaluable asset to the team.

Bailey Livian
Bailey graduated from the New York Institute of Technology in 2017, specializing in zoning and project management. Since joining Hierarchy in November 2015, Bailey has become an integral part of the team, bringing a deep understanding of zoning regulations and project oversight. With a strong background in navigating complex zoning challenges, Bailey ensures that every project complies with regulatory standards while maintaining the highest level of quality and efficiency.
Domenico Panzarino
Domenico is a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology, class of 2022, where he earned his degree in architecture. He brings fresh insights and a passion for design. Since joining the firm in May 2022, he has been diligently working toward building a successful career in architecture, contributing his creativity and technical skills to a range of projects.
George Jamalyh
George graduated from the New York Institute of Technology in 2017 with a degree in Architecture. Bringing a wealth of experience from his previous work in an engineering firm, George has been a key part of the Hierarchy team since August 2021. As a project manager, he applies his technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure the successful execution of projects, consistently delivering high-quality results.
Anastasia Anderson
Anastasia is our only Hierarchy member who lives on the West Coast! She is our marketing person and has been working with Hierarchy since 2021!
Angelina
Angelina graduated with honors from New York Institute of Technology in May 2024 with a Bachelor’s of Architecture degree. As the newest addition to the Hierarchy Team, she is enthusiastically pursing her career in architecture. Angelina has been with Hierarchy since January 2023.
